Ombudsman receives Turkish Ambassador

Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al-Maawda received Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Esen Çakil.
The meeting reviewed services provided to the public according to legal competencies, and means to benefit from these services for citizens, residents and visitors.
The ombudsman affirmed continuous keenness to communicate with diplomatic missions’ members to enhance transparency principle and relations with institutions and bodies interested in learning about its efforts and professional activities.
Ombudsman receives Turkish Ambassador
Manama, May 20 (BNA): Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Maawda met the Ambassador of Turkey to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hatun Demirer.
Al-Maawda asserted his keenness on maintaining constant communication with foreign embassies in Bahrain to familiarise them with the work and role of the Ombudsman Office in boosting human rights.
He briefed the ambassador about the duties and jurisdictions of the Ombudsman in receiving complaints, monitoring reformatory and detention centres and boosting the values of human rights and humanitarian treatment of the public, including all expatriate community members in Bahrain.
The Director of International Cooperation and Development in the Ombudsman Office, Ghada Hameed Habib, attended the meeting.
