The Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, received the Ombudsman Nawaf Al Maawdah.
The Assistant Foreign Minister noted the role of the Ombudsman in protecting the values and principles of human rights, receiving and studying complaints, providing legal consultations and monitoring rehabilitation centers.
The work of the Ombudsman contributes to supporting the achievements of the Kingdom in the field of protecting human rights and consolidating justice and the rule of law, he added.
Al Doseri, and Chairman of the High Coordination Committee for Human Rights, commended the periodic reports issued by the Ombudsman, which mirror the development of human rights work across all areas and affirmed the ministry's keenness on enhancing cooperation with the Ombudsman in order to develop human rights further.
