Ghada Humaid Habib, the Ombudswoman, received Mohammed Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ambassador was briefed with an overview of the Ombudsman Office, outlining its legal mandate and its role in serving the public, including members of expatriate communities residing in Bahrain. She also highlighted key statistics from the Office’s reports and illustrated its contributions to promoting respect for human rights within law enforcement agencies.

Additionally, she discussed the Office’s plans and activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of expertise with institutions and agencies operating in similar domains, both regionally and internationally.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of International Cooperation and Development.
