The meeting was held as part of Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation across public services, and it focused on strengthening cooperation in the development of digital platforms and services.
The meeting discussed a shared commitment of the two sides to align with Bahrain’s Vision 2030, which places innovation and digital accessibility at the heart of public sector progress.
Habib highlighted the strong and productive partnership between the Ombudsman and the iGA, particularly in areas involving technical development and service modernisation.
The meeting also focused on expanding and refining the Ombudsman’s digital services to better serve the public, with a focus on usability, efficiency, and alignment with national digital standards. Both sides discussed ways on how iGA can further support the Ombudsman’s digital journey through expertise, infrastructure, and strategic collaboration.
Habib noted that enhancing service delivery and embracing modern technologies are key priorities for the Ombudsman’s Office, not only to meet public expectations but to reinforce transparency and accountability.
Al Qaed underlined the iGA’s readiness to support all initiatives that elevate the quality of government e-services, while also ensuring robust data protection and user privacy in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
