The Independent Ombudsman Office and the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission participates in the activities of Bahrain Sports Day

The Independent Ombudsman Office and the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission participated today, Thursday, in the activities of the Kingdom’s Sports Day, in implementation of the directives of the esteemed Cabinet of Bahrain to allocate half a working day in February as a national sports day to be celebrated annually in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Ombudsmen and the Commission held sports and health activities as a part of today’s activities. These activities represented an opportunity to renew the activity and vitality of the employees, which will reflect positively on their performance.

The Ombudswomen and Chairperson of the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission, Her Excellency Ms. Ghada Hameed Habib, appreciated the organization of the sports day as an innovative sports and health model, which indicates the extent of the interest that sports receives in Bahrain at all levels, expressing her thanks and appreciation to the members of the Independent Ombudsman Office and the Commission for their efforts to make this distinguished event.
