Ombudsman meets EU Commission ambassador

Manama, 03/03/2015 (BNA) – Secretary-General of the Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al-Maawda met here today the Riyadh-Resident EU Commission Ambassador to Bahrain Adam Kulach, currently on a visit to the kingdom. Al-Maawda reviewed with Ambassador Adam Kulach the events and functions held by the Office of the Ombudsman recently.

He affirmed keenness to consolidate professional and technical cooperation with many prestigious international institutions, especially in European countries, with long experience in the field of ombudsman.

Cooperation with such institutions included training sessions, workshops, lectures, seminars and competencies' participation in events outside the country, he said. Director of International Cooperation and Development Ghada Hameed Habib, and international cooperation expert Maryam Ahmed Abdul Noor were present.
