Ombudsman Secretary-General receives a European Commission delegation

Manama, 26/05/2014. (BNA) – Secretary-General of the Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Ma'awda received here today a delegation from the European Commission, led by the Managing Director of North Africa, Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq at the European External Action Service (EEAS) Hughes Mingarelli, who was accompanied by the Head of European Union Delegation Ambassador Adam Colakh, Head of EEAS' Division of the Arabian Peninsula, Iraq and Iran John O'Rourke and First Secretary for Political Affairs Mikko Marcia. Al Ma'awda reviewed with the European Commission's delegation the Ombudsman's activities and events, as well as areas of cooperation with similar European organisations and bodies in the fields of training.
